Thanksgiving Holiday Market is November 18!

First Baptist Church, East Main Street in Bennington: 10am to 1 pm

All winter markets this year run 10am – 1pm on the first and third Saturday of the month.
Celebrate the season of thanks with Bennington Farmers’ Market this Saturday. Over 20 vendors will be there with honey, maple syrup, baked goods, cheese, produce, meat, jams and jellies, sprouts,  sauces, freshly roasted coffee beans and coffee to drink, ready to eat foods, Old Bennington Spirits, and crafts for the upcoming holiday season.

Our final member raffle will be pulled this Saturday: winners receive a basket filled with goodies from market vendors. The raffle will start up again next May.

Got Apples? Bring them to make cider on the 14th!

The ground is littered with apples and there are only so many pies, crisps and jars of applesauce we have time to make so how to use all those extra apples? Press them into cider!

Saturday, October 14 local farmer Alan Baker will have his press at the Bennington Farmers Market from 10 a.m.till 1 p.m. Everyone is invited to bring apples as well as containers to hold freshly pressed cider. While at the market take time to enjoy the music of Alex Smith and shop vendor stalls packed with fall crops, local eggs and honey, maple syrup and fresh baked breads. pies, cookies and cakes.

Seventh annual apple pie contest: October 7!

pieFlaky crust, juicy apples and spicy cinnamon will rule the day when the Bennington Farmers’ Market hosts its seventh annual apple pie competition Saturday, October 7.

Bakers from throughout the area are invited to enter their best apple pie to be judged by local food professionals. All entries must be homemade and use local apples. Pies will be judged on the quality of the crust, the flavor of the filling and overall appearance. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded.

Tuesday markets are underway!

Tuesday markets began on June 6th from 3-6 and will continue through October 10th.
New Location: River Walk behind Bennington Station, same as Saturday’s market!

June 3rd:  Dairy Day is returning!

Help us kick off Dairy Month with a celebration! Dairy Day will feature Wilcox Dairy Ice Cream, which will be for sale for twenty-five cents per scoop.
